How will you prepare the resources for the game art?
I am a game designer and Charles is a programmer. We were well aware of the need for art resources to produce games.
However, as in the previous post, I thought it would be a great adventure to consistently find another person who can do something, so I decided not to invite an art designer until I had the results to show others.
I thought it wouldn't be too difficult to find additional colleagues to work with when the game we're creating has the ability to show others.
Therefore, I or Charles had to take charge of the art resources, which I thought were a set of characters and tiles that were immediately judged necessary to implement the In game.
Criteria for the set of tiles I need
In my opinion, since the battlefields of the RPG games that we will make are based on each tile, we could purchase and use a set of tiles with a large number of moderately theme types.
When I considered buying a tile set, the most important part was how many different combinations it offered. No matter how high the art quality was, I thought it would be a waste of money to pay to buy it if I couldn't produce an extra portion.
Therefore, I had sought out a set of tiles that met my requirements, and I thought the set sold by a person named "7Soul" on the market at "itch.io" was consistent.
The quality isn't very high, but it was a tile that offered various combinations of levels I wanted, and I bought the tile.
